Data Engineer

Are you a Data Engineer looking to work on high-impact projects that support UK national security? We’re looking for engineers who enjoy building scalable data platforms and solving complex technical challenges within secure environments.

You’ll design, develop and maintain data pipelines, enabling organisations to collect, transform and deliver data that drives critical decision-making. Working alongside architects, analysts and software engineers, you’ll help deliver modern cloud-based data solutions using engineering best practices.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines
• Developing data solutions using Python and SQL
• Designing secure, scalable cloud-based data platforms
• Applying DataOps and DevOps best practices
• Working with stakeholders to understand technical requirements
• Implementing data modelling, orchestration and governance
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Strong Python and SQL development skills
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Data modelling and database design
• CI/CD and version control
• Agile delivery experience

Requirements

• You must be a Sole British National.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
