- Work collaboratively within Agile and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement and maintain version control, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Support the monitoring, performance, security, and reliability of cloud environments.
- Collaborate with technical colleagues and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Continuously explore new tools, technologies, and engineering practices to improve delivery.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
- Good knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, Elastic Load Balancing, SNS, SQS, and IAM.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and contribute across different areas of the engineering lifecycle.
Experience in some of the following areas would also be beneficial:
- AWS certifications at Associate level or above, such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Microservices architecture and API design.
- Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or ECS.
- Cloud monitoring, observability, performance optimisation, and FinOps.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Automated testing frameworks and continuous testing practices.
- Linux administration, networking, routing, and firewalls.
Candidates don’t need to have experience in every desirable area, as opportunities for training and professional development are available.
