Salesforce Programme Manager (Urgent)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the final phases of a large-scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation for a leading UK retail organisation. This is a business-critical transformation programme, with a phased rollout across multiple well-known consumer brands over the next six months. This role is remote!

We are looking for a confident programme leader who can take ownership, quickly establish control and drive delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring key milestones and go-lives are achieved successfully.

You will be responsible for overseeing programme execution, managing delivery plans, risks, dependencies, resources and governance to ensure the programme remains on track. Working within an Agile environment, you will coordinate a Global Systems Integrator, Salesforce Professional Services, internal technology teams and business stakeholders across onshore and offshore delivery teams. You will act as the central point of leadership across the programme, driving accountability, resolving cross-workstream issues and ensuring timely decisions are made. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can go beyond reporting progress to actively challenge, influence and drive delivery outcomes.

A key part of the role will involve engaging with senior stakeholders, programme sponsors and executive leaders, providing clear programme updates, managing expectations and maintaining confidence throughout each phase of delivery. You will need to assess programme-level risks, identify potential blockers, facilitate decision-making and ensure delivery partners remain aligned with the overall programme objectives., The contract is initially for six months, with a flexible working model and no fixed office attendance requirements. The interview process is expected to comprise one to two stages. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to take a leading role in a high-profile, multi-brand Salesforce Marketing Cloud transformation, driving delivery through its final and most critical phases.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive Programme Management experience within complex enterprise technology or transformation environments, alongside proven experience delivering Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations through critical go-live and deployment phases. You will have experience managing Global Systems Integrators, coordinating multiple onshore and offshore delivery teams, and operating within established programme governance frameworks. Strong stakeholder management, risk management and dependency management skills are essential, as is the ability to challenge delivery partners, influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Although this is not a hands-on configuration role, a strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, architecture, integrations and technical dependencies is essential to engage effectively with architects, developers and Salesforce specialists. Experience delivering large-scale customer marketing, CRM or digital transformation programmes would be highly relevant, while experience within retail or e-commerce would be advantageous.

Success in this role will depend on your ability to quickly establish programme control, build credibility with senior stakeholders and maintain momentum across all workstreams. You will be expected to drive accountability, proactively manage risks and ensure each phased go-live is delivered to schedule and the required quality standards, while keeping business and technology stakeholders aligned throughout the programme.
