LabView Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an LabView Engineer for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will develop and enhance LabVIEW-based test automation solutions for chemical delivery systems and engineering lab equipment., * Develop, modify, and maintain LabVIEW applications for chemical delivery test stands and engineering laboratory equipment.

• Integrate LabVIEW systems with MFCs, valves, sensors, DAQ hardware, PLCs, and various communication protocols.
• Design and implement automated test sequences, data acquisition, logging, reporting, and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot, debug, validate, and optimize existing and newly developed LabVIEW applications.
• Support the development and enhancement of test stands while collaborating with engineering teams on evolving project requirements.
• Develop and maintain a scalable master LabVIEW framework to support future hardware integration, testing, and automation needs.

LabVIEW Programming Language, Systems Engineering, Test Automation, LabVIEW Programming Language, Laboratory Equipment, Testing, Software Administration, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Communications Protocols, System Integration (SI), * Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW development, test automation, and data acquisition (DAQ) systems.
• Strong experience integrating laboratory hardware, including MFCs, valves, sensors, PLCs, and instrument communication protocols.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, validate, and support LabVIEW applications in a laboratory or test-stand environment, with the ability to work onsite as required.

Rate Range: $45/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
