Domain Experience (If any) - Healthcare good to have., Job Title Senior Production Support Engineer (Java/Golang) Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated Java & Golang Production Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for business-critical applications. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and ensuring high availability of applications running in cloud and containerized environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java and/or Golang applications, production support processes, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities * Provide L2/L3 production support for Java and Golang-based applications. * Monitor application health, performance, and availability. * Investigate and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines. * Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. * Troubleshoot application, middleware, database, and infrastructure issues. * Analyze logs and metrics using monitoring tools. * Support production releases, deployments, and change management activities. * Coordinate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, SRE, and Business teams during incidents. * Participate in on-call support and major incident management. * Automate repetitive support activities using scripting and tools. * Ensure compliance with operational and security standards. * Ability to drive production defect resolution and cross-team action plans to closure. * Production leadership and end-to-end operational ownership. Required Technical Skills Programming * Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) * Good experience in Golang * REST API development and troubleshooting Cloud & Containers * AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM) Monitoring & Logging * Datadog * Splunk Database * Oracle * PostgreSQL * MySQL * MongoDB DevOps & CI/CD * Git, Bitbucket * Maven * ArgoCD, Tekton * Helm Messaging * Kafka Scripting * Shell/Bash * Python (preferred) Production Support Skills * Incident Management * Problem Management * Change Management * Release Support * Root Cause Analysis (RCA) * ServiceNow/Jira Ticket Handling * SLA & KPI Monitoring * Major Incident Coordination Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting microservices architecture. * Experience with AWS cloud-native applications. * Knowledge of SRE concepts and observability. * Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or enterprise environments.
