Solution Architect in United

We are seeking an AI Storage Solution Architect to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Cloudian storage solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in distributed storage systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise-scale data management. The ideal candidate will have hands on storage administration experience. The will work closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering to deliver scalable, high-performance storage and AI solutions that meet complex business requirements.

• 5+ years of experience in storage architecture, preferably with object storage systems \n

• Hands-on experience with Cloudian HyperStore installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting or similar distributed storage platforms (Ceph, MinIO, NetApp StorageGRID) \n

• Experience with AI training and inference workflows, specifically with their I/O requirements \n

• Experience integrating AI connectors such as PyTorch, Multi Storage Client and/or performance testing with NIXLBench and KVBench \n

• Deep understanding of S3 API, REST protocols, and cloud storage standards \n

• Experience with Linux system administration, networking, and virtualization technologies \n

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation \n, * Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences \n

• Experience leading customer workshops and technical training sessions \n

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions \n

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure \n

• Experience managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously \n, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field \n

• Professional certifications in storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC, AWS, Azure) \n

• Experience with software-defined storage and hyper-converged infrastructure \n

• Background in storage performance tuning and capacity planning \n

• Previous experience in technical sales or customer success roles

• Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-scale storage solutions \n

• Experience with data center architecture, including compute, storage, and networking components \n

• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale environments \n

• Understanding of compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and data governance \n

• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud strategies \n
