performance engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on performance engineer who can test, monitor, and tune large-scale systems end to end. You’ll script and run load tests, dig into bottlenecks until they’re solved, and keep a close eye on AWS and hybrid cloud environments, while working closely with business and technology teams., Founded in 2014, is a global leader in delivering innovative IT solutions and services. • 1 10 years working with a range of performance testing and monitoring tools and technologies.
• Deep hands-on experience with LoadRunner.
• Experience across every stage of performance testing: scripting, execution, analysis, and monitoring.
• Skill in tracking down the root cause of performance bottlenecks and seeing issues through to resolution.
• Experience with service virtualization tools such as CA DevTest (Mountebank preferred).

Monitoring & Cloud

• Strong experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and hybrid cloud enterprise solutions, including monitoring AWS environments.
• Comfortable with Linux, Docker, AWS, Git, and Artifactory, both as tools and from a systems admin angle.

Scripting & Scale

• Solid scripting skills in Python, Java, or Shell.
• Experience working on large-scale systems, with strong spoken communication and a positive attitude.

Bonus Points

• Capacity testing using different workload models.
• Source code version control with Git.
• Strong problem-solving, with the ability to juggle priorities, set clear expectations, and deliver.
• Ability to work through moderate to highly complex problems using solid systems and software knowledge.
• Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and designing and rolling out fixes in your technology area.
