Project Manager II / IT Project Manager Business Analyst

Description: Seeking an advanced Project Manager II to support strategic agency-wide IT projects through its Project and Portfolio Management Section. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced project manager who can also excel as a business analyst, combining technical and interpersonal skills with strong analytical ability, self-motivation, collaboration and flexibility. Primary Tasks:

• Develop comprehensive project charters, project plans and other project artifacts to include scope, timeline, resources, and budget.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule.
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing risks and issues.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review project updates and gather feedback.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.
• Manage project documentation, including status reports, schedules, and risk logs.
• Foster clear communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Support change management processes to ensure smooth project transitions and adoption.
• Oversee project closure activities, including final reporting, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer., * Reliable internet must be provided at the contractor’s own expense for remote work.
• At contract end, equipment must be returned. If it cannot be dropped off in person, shipping is at the supplier’s expense. Replacement of DNR equipment damaged during the contract is at the supplier’s expense.
