Application Engineer

An established organization is seeking a dedicated Application Engineer to support, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications. The selected candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure applications remain stable, secure, and high-performing. This position plays an active role in solution design, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for critical enterprise systems., * Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure continuous availability, reliability, and optimal performance.

• Monitor application health, logs, interfaces, and integrations to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data configurations.
• Support application upgrades, patches, and release deployments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors to align systems with business requirements.
• Participate in solution design, system integration, and troubleshooting for critical systems.
• Leverage testing tools to implement and evaluate system security and performance.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Solid background in supporting and maintaining enterprise applications in an integrated environment.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and system integrations. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or SQL. Proficiency with relational databases, cloud services, and middleware technologies., * Proven experience with security testing tool implementations, such as SafeBreach or Mandiant.

• Strong analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve complicated technical problems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies with minimal supervision.
