QA Automation Engineer

Our client is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a 2+ year contract. This position requires candidates to already be local to Omaha, NE and must be willing to go onsite 1x/week minimum., We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join a long-term enterprise modernization initiative focused on application upgrades, patching, and technology modernization efforts. This role will play a critical part in ensuring application stability and reducing production risk as systems undergo frequent updates and enhancements., * Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and related automation tools

• Build and expand regression test coverage for application changes
• Validate application functionality following patches, upgrades, and enhancements
• Create test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing activities
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects through resolution
• Retest defects and validate fixes throughout development cycles
• Troubleshoot failed automation scripts and determine root causes
• Partner with development teams, business stakeholders, and project resources
• Document testing results, defect trends, and coverage metrics
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation effectiveness and testing efficiency

Stakeholder Communications Java (Programming Language) Business Continuity Planning Troubleshooting (Problem Solving)

At least 2 years, The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Selenium-based test automation, regression testing, and enterprise application environments. You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and application teams to validate functionality, identify defects, and maintain high-quality software delivery throughout the testing lifecycle., * Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

• Experience supporting enterprise application upgrades and patching initiatives
• Ability to work independently within large, complex environments
