Data Scientist - Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (CIP)

We are seeking a Data Scientist to support mission-focused work. The Data Scientist applies quantitative, analytical, and statistical methods to explore, model, and extract actionable insights from complex structured and unstructured datasets. Operating within a multi-disciplinary team, this role focuses on leveraging supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, research design principles, and data science methodologies to support strategic client decision-making and data-driven solutions. The position requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (CIP)., * Machine Learning & Modeling: Design, train, and evaluate supervised and unsupervised machine learning models to analyze diverse structured and unstructured datasets.

• Methodological Research: Apply research design principles, applied mathematics, computer programming, and data visualization tools to investigate complex data problems.
• Client Advisory: Advise clients on data strategy, data acquisition, data governance, and data infrastructure implementations.
• Data Visualization & Storytelling: Communicate analytical findings and data insights clearly through visual dashboards, written reports, and executive presentations.

• Knowledge of research design principles
• Knowledge of analytic methods and methodological tools used in applied mathematics, computer programming, or data visualization
• Ability to apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms on structured and unstructured datasets
• Bachelor’s degree
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (CIP)
• Must work on-site in McLean, VA

• Knowledge of data strategy and data governance
• Ability to advise clients on data acquisition, data management, and data infrastructure
• Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision

Salary

Salary for this position is determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific budget considerations.

Proposed Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000, We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:
