The Systems Engineer Principal must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 8+ years of related experience Position Required Skills: Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks Experience with the Agencys STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentationPosition Desired Skills: Experience administering Windows systems Experience with NetApp storage devices Experience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence Security clearance level: TS/SCI US citizenship required GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.
