SAP Data Analyst (Procurement & Supply Chain)

On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet’s vital power needs we are looking for a SAP Data Analyst (Procurement & Supply Chain) for a 6 Months contract based in Derby., We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join a specialist procurement team responsible for managing one of the company’s largest and most strategically important supplier relationships.

This is a highly analytical, hands-on role where you’ll work with complex supplier, contract, tooling, and procurement data to help drive commercial decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support effective supplier management.

What you’ll do:

• Managing and maintaining large volumes of supplier, procurement, tooling, and contract data.
• Extracting data from SAP and consolidating it within Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Validating, cleaning, and maintaining datasets across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitoring supplier activity, including quotations, purchase orders, approvals, programme status, and contract milestones.
• Supporting the management of approximately 200 live part numbers with a major supplier.
• Producing meaningful insights and recommendations for procurement stakeholders.

• Strong experience as a Data Analyst within a commercial environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Large dataset management
• Data manipulation and analysis
• Experience extracting and analysing data from SAP.
• Procurement, supply chain, purchasing, contract management, or supplier-management environments.
