MSAD Systems Engineer V

Lead modeling, simulation, and algorithm design for propulsion and aerospace programs while managing and mentoring an engineering team. Develop high-fidelity models, control algorithms, and simulation architectures; assess system performance and collaborate across engineering, software, systems, and test teams. This role is hybrid or remote., * Develop high-fidelity models and control algorithms for propulsion, flight control, and guidance subsystems.

• Create simulation architectures supporting design iteration, verification, and validation.
• Conduct controllability studies, define control system topologies, and support gain tuning.
• Perform requirement derivation, margin analysis, trade studies, Monte Carlo, sensitivity, and parametric analyses.
• Apply physics-based modeling to mechanical, thermal, aerodynamic, ballistics, propulsion, and actuation systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, author technical documentation, mentor engineers, and support technical reviews.
