Site Reliability Engineer / Terraform / AWS / AI Infrastructure

A top 10 AI company in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their high-growth organization building and operating large-scale AI cloud infrastructure. The position focuses on designing, building, and scaling internal platforms, enterprise applications, and cloud-based infrastructure that support business operations across engineering, finance, go-to-market, and people teams.

Daily Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve scalable internal systems and services
• Develop automation to eliminate manual operational tasks and prevent recurring incidents
• Improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and performance
• Partner with engineering and business teams on architecture, integrations, and platform enhancements

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• Strong experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python or Go
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with configuration management and automation platforms including Ansible, Chef, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and reliability engineering principles
• Experience troubleshooting production systems, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term automation solutions
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and automated deployment practices
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar automation and workflow orchestration tools
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and incident response best practices, Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
