Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to architect, build, and design solutions that integrate public cloud services. The role involves utilizing infrastructure-as-code methodologies to ensure repeatable deployment of resources. The successful candidate will provide essential expertise in cloud reference architecture and solutions to support software development within a modern DevOps environment. Support for a dual Microsoft Exchange and Google Workspace environment is required for daily operations., * Create and update cloud environment configurations to support diverse application workloads across Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms.

• Design and build automation platforms utilizing infrastructure-as-code methodologies such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Develop automated processes utilizing scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Python, and shell scripting via the command line.
• Coordinate change and release activities for mail and mobile device management services, including upgrades, patches, and impact analysis.
• Fulfill service requests for role-based access, permissions, distribution groups, and overall system availability.
• Assess performance, access, licensing, and capacity to recommend technical solutions to leadership.
• Participate in a standard rotation of on-call support to ensure continuous operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand workload solution architecture within secure environment boundaries.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical knowledge articles.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in technical tasks directly related to technology infrastructure, including 5 years of experience deploying and configuring application workloads within Microsoft Azure Commercial Cloud or AWS Cloud.
• Proficient with infrastructure components including compute, network, and storage.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft O365 Cloud, Exchange, Intune with Apple Business Manager, Azure, Office Suite, Outlook, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Security & Compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Administrator Associate certifications.
• Technical certification in Microsoft O365 or equivalent systems.
• Experience working with containers, container orchestration systems, and platform hardening practices.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective customer relationships and manage workloads with diverse stakeholders.

Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.
