Java Developer with Scala and kafka

We are seeking an experienced Java/Scala Engineering Manager with strong expertise in Kafka and distributed systems to lead the development of high-performance, enterprise-scale applications., * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Scala, and Spring Boot.
• Architect and support Kafka-based event-driven systems.
• Lead development of enterprise microservices and distributed applications.
• Drive technical design, code quality, testing, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams.
• Participate in system design, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Manage project delivery, priorities, and technical initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers.

Important: Candidates must be local to Jersey City, NJ, and profiles should demonstrate strong Java + Scala + Kafka + leadership/management experience., The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on technical background in Java, Scala, Kafka, and microservices, along with proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects., * 10+ years of software development experience.
