Network DevOps Engineer

Our client, a technology solutions provider company located in San Francisco, CA, needs a hybrid full-time Network DevOps Engineer for permanent employment. The Network DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and building automation that performs network software updates, configuration changes, compliance checks, and remediation across on-premises and Azure environments.

• 8+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience and recently worked in network automation or a NetDevOps role.
• 8+ years of networking experience including automating networks in larger environments working with cisco equipment.
• 5+ years of production experience with Versa or Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Firepower/FTD firewalls, and Cisco wireless solutions, including Catalyst 9800 and AireOS controllers.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, with Git-based version control, pull request workflows, and code reviews.
• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and Azure Firewall.
• 5+ years of Python development experience, automating network operations through REST APIs and integrating with vendor platforms such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Nexus Dashboard, vManage, Azure Resource Manager, and F5.
• 5+ years of experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco switching and routing technologies, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP/VRRP, and QoS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Cisco Certified DevNet Expert or CCIE Automation certification, including successful completion of the required written and lab examinations.

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience working in financial industry
• Experience building out AIOps pipelines/working with AI tools

We offer excellent benefits and compensation packages. The expected base salary range for this role is: 150K-180K per year The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
