Patent Prosecution and Litigation Associate - Electrical Engineering and Software

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior-level Associate in New York City to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group, focusing on Electrical Engineering and Software., * Draft and prosecute patent applications.

• Engage in patent litigation processes.
• Collaborate with clients on intellectual property strategies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.

• 4 to 7 years of IP experience.
• Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar.
• Experience with AI/machine learning, software design, semiconductors, and medical devices is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law or eligible for licensing in the state of employment.
• Member of the USPTO.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
