Job description
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend applications
- Design and support Kafka-based event-driven services
- Integrate with upstream and downstream applications/APIs
- Work with PostgreSQL databases
- Build scalable cloud-native solutions in AWS
- Follow Agile Scrum methodology
- Implement automated testing practices
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude Code
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Spring Boot and Microservices
- Apache Kafka and Event-Driven Architecture
- AWS Public Cloud Development (Azure/Google Cloud Platform experience may also be considered)
- Automated Testing (Unit, Component, Regression Testing)
- SQL & NoSQL Databases
- PostgreSQL
- API Development & Integration, * Cucumber
- AWS ECS
- Amazon S3
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Banking/Financial Services experience is a plus
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have strong Java backend development expertise, hands-on Spring Boot experience, Kafka integration knowledge, cloud exposure, and a solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
