Innovation Attorney

A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney to join their Technology & Information Services team in Washington, D.C. This role serves as a vital link between the firm’s lawyers, clients, and technology services, ensuring that technology systems and tools meet the needs of practicing attorneys and clients., * Stay informed on advancements in generative AI and emerging technologies.

• Provide updates and analysis of new technologies to firm management.
• Identify opportunities to integrate technologies into specific practices.
• Collaborate with technology services to recommend strategic deployments.
• Foster relationships with industry organizations and vendors.
• Assist in communications between lawyers and technology support teams.
• Participate in technology-related committees and working groups.
• Deliver technology presentations and training to attorneys.
• Protect and maintain confidential and proprietary information.

• Understanding of product development and management.
• Proficiency in enterprise PC applications like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
• Knowledge of LegalTech product categories.

Education

• JD or equivalent, and admission to the relevant state bar., * Experience as a practicing lawyer or in a legal operations role.
• Experience in a technology role, preferably.
