Job description
Make your mark as a Graduate Full Stack Developer in the Technology sector, based in Liverpool.
UK tech employers are still short on graduate talent who can actually build things, not just talk about them. This enterprise organisation has spent years establishing itself as a leader in its field, and it runs on large-scale systems that touch thousands of users every day. Bringing a Graduate Full Stack Developer into a team like this means real code, real deadlines, and real mentors who’ve done the job before.
The business has structured career paths already mapped out, so you’re not left guessing what progress looks like. You’ll work within established frameworks rather than firefighting from day one. That matters more than most graduates realise.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Building and maintaining features across the front end and back end under senior developer guidance
Writing clean, tested code in line with the team’s existing standards and frameworks
Fixing bugs, running diagnostics, and learning how large-scale systems fail (and recover)
Taking part in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback
Working with databases, APIs, and version control as part of a structured development cycle
Attending sprint planning and stand-ups, and picking up the practical rhythm of enterprise software delivery
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent self-taught experience you can demonstrate)
Solid grounding in at least one modern language, such as JavaScript, Python, or C#
Understanding of front-end and back-end concepts, even if your depth in each is still developing
Genuine curiosity. The best graduate hires ask why something works, not just how
Comfortable receiving feedback and adjusting quickly
Clear written and verbal communication, especially when explaining technical problems to non-technical colleagues
Benefits & conditions
£24,500 to £28,500 depending on experience
Hybrid working, splitting time between home and the Liverpool office
Private medical and dental insurance from day one
Enhanced pension scheme above the statutory minimum
Performance-based bonuses on top of salary
Why pursue a career in Technology?
Technology doesn’t stand still, and neither does the demand for people who can build within it. Liverpool has grown into a genuine hub for tech talent, with enterprise employers investing heavily in the city rather than just London. A Graduate Full Stack Developer who starts here, inside a structured, well-resourced team, tends to progress faster than one thrown in without support. Good developers get noticed. It’s still that simple.
