| Senior Data Modeler | Barcelona, Spain |
Join a leading global organisation as a Senior Data Modeler, responsible for designing and governing enterprise data models using Data Vault 2.0 and Medallion Architecture principles. You will act as the subject matter expert for data modelling, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and business alignment across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and govern enterprise data models across integrated and analytics-focused data layers.
- Translate business requirements into clear, implementation-ready data models.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and analytics teams to define data structures and domain semantics.
- Establish and maintain modelling standards, naming conventions, and metadata practices.
- Ensure data models support reporting, analytics, and long-term scalability.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modelling, and enterprise data modelling best practices.
- Understanding of Medallion Architecture and modern data platform concepts.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams, turning complex requirements into scalable data models.
- Experience creating detailed model specifications for engineering teams.
- Familiarity with ERP data structures and multi-system integration environments.
- Experience with data modelling tools, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise data modelling within complex environments.
