IT Support Engineer - Grantham

• Provide first- and second-line support to users across our business, in person and remotely
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID, including user accounts, mailboxes, permissions and shared folders
• Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues, including IP addressing, switches and Wi-Fi
• Support backups and restores, and help keep systems secure and up to date
• Build and deploy laptops and other devices, and write clear user guides
• Occasionally visit other sites to support staff and equipment
• In time, help mentor a junior colleague or apprentice

• Office 365, We are an established and growing business in Grantham, seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to join our small, close-knit IT team. This varied, all-round role provides first contact for day-to-day IT support across our office and operational sites. You will work closely with our IT Manager and have real ownership of your work, rather than simply logging and passing on tickets.

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, ideally in a smaller business where you have handled a broad range of tasks
• Solid working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Good grasp of networking basics, including IP, DHCP, DNS and connectivity troubleshooting
• Practical, curious approach to fault-finding and confidence explaining technical matters to non-technical users
• Comfortable working in office and operational environments
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Grantham
