WorkForce and Portfolio Management./Senior Project Manager/Pune/Wholesale IT: 0000JLCB

• Playing a multifaceted role supporting the line mgmt. on IT strategy including developing understanding of the IT landscape, target architecture and operating model. Act as a point of contact for DOME IT Manco, HR Business Partner, Vendor Partners, Recruitment teams, COO/Ops function and People Transformation team. Responsible to implement the organization principles and people agenda and contribute to any People related Strategic programs.
• Leading the workforce strategy and planning for team of over 600-700 staff across multiple locations including India (Pune, Bangalore, Hyd), HK, China, Poland, UK, Singapore and US with an annual budget of : $150-200m. Managing all resource planning, support hiring, reporting, and analytical procedures for IT, including headcount planning, forecasting, and strategy implementation.
• Overall portfolio reporting and managing the health across various risk & control dimensions working closely with the DOME IT Manco. Devising and monitoring of internal governance activities. Lead business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning. Ensuring accurate people forecasting is done based on the resource requirement in line with the funding availability and the agreed manpower plan.
• Facilitate & support senior management decision by making the use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums, stakeholder feedback and HSBC strategy.
• Identifying the right Vendors, Establishing Vendor Governance and building strong relationships to partner with them. Running the right initiatives for Strategic and tail Vendors.
• Executing the accepted organisational design principles, including the ratios for high and low-cost items as well as the delivery of suitable spans and layers across the organization.
• Leading multiple objectives, such as the Global Pay Review, Performance Rating and Calibration, Succession planning and Talent Management. People Insights Analysis. Ensures compliance with Group policies and policies.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Degree educated, Professional qualification like Engineering, MBA, CA preferred
• :15 years of experience required
• Analytics, excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, very good in preparing presentations and articulation of thoughts and ideas into business friendly language and outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of banking ecosystem processes
• Hands on experience in MS office, Excel, Business Management/Financial Managemenr/Work Force Management and Portfolio Management. Experience in agile ways of working, human centric design is an added advantage
• Proven track record working in global matrix organisation and solid experience in both global and regional teams
• Self -starter, collaborator and driven to find answers and resolve issues, capable to work independently and stay calm under exceptional workload situations
