Backend Software Engineer - TypeScript

• Develop backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js

• Commercial experience with TypeScript, Node.js, APIs and distributed systems
• Understanding of cloud-based development

• Experience with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Pub/Sub or C# is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to take ownership, solve technical problems and work independently within a collaborative team

Join our established, technology-led logistics business in Southampton, Hampshire, as a Backend Software Engineer. Youll work in our team connecting our platform to international delivery networks, helping improve systems that process high volumes of transactions and supporting new projects for international expansion. Were already using AI-assisted and agentic development, and are modernising our platform towards TypeScript and Google Cloud. The role pays £50,000-£60,000 and is hybrid, with two days per week in the office.
