Your Responsibilities Design and develop software for the Advantest IC Tester Platform Maintenance Framework. Solve challenging technical problems and turn complex requirements into smart, maintainable solutions. Work closely with developers, product experts, customers, and application teams to understand real-world use cases and create innovative solutions. Take ownership of features from concept to implementation and help shape the future direction of the platform. Build high-quality software using modern development tools, AI-assisted development workflows, and engineering best practices. Develop primarily in C++ on high-performance Linux systems. Be part of an agile team where collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field. Experience in software development with C++. Good understanding of software architecture, design principles, software quality, and maintainable code. Good English communication skills. Nice to have: Experience with Linux/Unix development, databases and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell. Experience with modern software development practices, including object-oriented design, Java, version control (Git) and agile development methods. Experience with large-scale software systems, modern development environments such as VS Code or Eclipse and AI-assistance. German language skills. Willingness to travel occasionally (typically less than 5%).
