Senior Python Backend Engineer - AI Service Operations (all gender)

• take technical ownership for the reliable operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of AI-powered applications in production
• investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses and resolve issues across Python backends, React frontends, APIs, databases and AI integrations
• implement bug fixes, hotfixes and technical improvements while ensuring high code quality through testing, peer reviews and CI/CD processes
• optimize application performance, monitoring, logging, alerting and resilience while automating recurring operational activities
• collaborate closely with AI engineers, cloud teams, platform teams and business stakeholders to support deployments, hypercare phases and operational excellence
• maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and operational runbooks while supporting knowledge transfer and long-term application stability

• have a completed vocational training, university degree, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field
• bring strong professional experience in Python backend development, including FastAPI, Flask or comparable frameworks, as well as debugging and maintaining complex codebases
• possess solid expertise in REST APIs, PostgreSQL, SQL, data modeling, automated testing and collaborative Git-based development workflows
• have hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native applications, monitoring tools and distributed systems; AWS experience is considered a strong advantage
• understand AI-powered applications, including LLM integrations, RAG concepts, vector databases and AI service architectures, and are fluent in English with excellent communication skills in an international environment
