Senior Infrastructure Engineer

I’m supporting a specialist National Security technology consultancy delivering secure infrastructure solutions across some of the UK’s most sensitive programmes., We’re looking for an experienced DV Infrastructure Engineer to join a long-term project based on-site in London.

This role would suit someone with a strong background in infrastructure design, build, implementation and support across secure environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and implementing physical and virtual infrastructure solutions
• Delivering infrastructure projects from design through to deployment
• Managing Windows and Linux environments
• Supporting VMware and Hyper-V platforms
• Maintaining enterprise networking environments
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
• Managing backups, patching and vulnerability remediation
• Producing technical documentation
• Developing automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools
