Senior .NET Developer - Equity Trading

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong Equity Trading expertise to join a high-performing financial markets technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing critical trading applications in a fast-paced front-office environment.

This role requires a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies, excellent understanding of capital markets, and the ability to deliver high-quality software within demanding project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and support Equity Trading applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
• Build and support web services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Contribute to application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Create and review technical documentation, estimates, and use cases.
• Perform code reviews and ensure software quality standards are met.
• Support testing activities, troubleshooting, and production releases.
• Work closely with global teams operating in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Equity Trading business processes and workflows.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in:

• C#.NET
• ADO.NET
• AJAX
• LINQ
• Windows Services
• Web Services
• Solid understanding of:
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Java
• .NET Framework 4.8
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• XML
• Strong experience with:
• Oracle
• SQL Server
• SQL Analysis Services
• Strong JavaScript development experience.
• Experience building both Windows and Web Services.
• Proven ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver production-quality software in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
