Job description

As an Android Developer, you’ll build secure, customer-centric mobile experiences used every day by millions of people. You’ll work in a collaborative, low-hierarchy team where ownership, fast decision-making, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life., * Ship user-facing Android features from intent to production in Kotlin, prioritising reliability, security, and usability.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and keep automated tests up to date to enable confident releases.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA to clarify scope, make trade-offs, and deliver customer value.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and release support for features you own.
  • Proactively identify and reduce technical debt; propose practical improvements to architecture and processes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Kotlin?, * Practical Android experience with Kotlin and Android SDK; you have shipped production Android features.

  • You write readable, well tested code and follow team standards for architecture and reviews.
  • You communicate clearly across disciplines and make trade-offs that prioritise customer outcomes.
  • You understand mobile security and compliance constraints and apply them in your work.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and take responsibility for the end to end quality of your work.
  • Nice to haves:
  • Familiarity with Jetpack libraries, Coroutines/Flow, Retrofit, Hilt/Dagger, or Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience with crash reporting and mobile monitoring tools (Crashlytics or similar).
  • Prior experience working in crossfunctional squads within regulated domains.
