Web Developer

• Build, enhance, and maintain web-based solutions using technologies such as Shopify, Laravel, and MySQL to support business operations and customer-facing needs.
• Provide technical direction for daily development activities, ensuring work is prioritized effectively and completed in alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and turn business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of a small IT team by organizing tasks, monitoring progress, and helping remove roadblocks during project execution.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely, reliable fixes.
• Contribute directly to software development through coding, solution design, testing, and ongoing optimization of existing applications.
• Oversee technical projects from planning through delivery, balancing deadlines, resource needs, and changing priorities.

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences to support decision-making, alignment, and successful implementation. Requirements - Detail-oriented experience developing web applications with Shopify and Laravel in a business environment.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, querying, performance tuning, and data management.
• Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on development work with technical leadership and team coordination responsibilities.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical plans, solution designs, and actionable development tasks.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex application and system-related issues.
• Background in technology management, including project prioritization, execution oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
