Hardware Engineer I

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of either our Minneapolis, MN, or Clearwater, FL locations on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of innovative hardware solutions that enhance the quality of life for people around the world and contribute to Honeywell’s position as a global technology leader.

This role will specialize in electronic hardware design for high-performance sensors including microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS) and ring laser gyro (RLG) technologies. As part of the storied team, you will receive expert mentorship and guidance in a culture centered on technical excellence and design speed., * Assist in the hardware design process from concept to production.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
• Support the design and development of complex hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Execute worst-case analyses by employing circuit theory.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Familiarity with hardware testing and validation processes.

The annual base salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
