Azure Security Engineer

• Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for Microsoft Azure services to protect cloud environments against potential threats.
• Manage identity and access controls to ensure secure access to Azure resources.
• Implement and maintain network security configurations to prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate potential threats, and respond to security incidents promptly.
• Ensure data protection and compliance with applicable security policies and industry standards.
• Document security procedures, policies, and best practices, and provide security guidance and training to internal teams.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure security tools, services, and cloud security solutions.
• Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including authentication, authorization, and access control.
• Good understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and cloud network protection.
• Experience with data protection, encryption, and security compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, identity protocols, and cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with security auditing, compliance assessments, and risk management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Python scripting for security automation is an advantage.
• Ability to stay updated on emerging Azure security technologies and threats.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure security certifications are preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skills.
