Software Engineer III - Backend

Software Engineering, Fitness, Quality Assurance, Product Design, Microservices, Application Programming Interface (API), Scalable System Development, Best Practices, Code Reviews, Test Automation, * Significant experience building and scaling backend systems for large-scale SaaS products.

• Strong background in object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java.
• Experience designing service-oriented and microservice-based architectures.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Kibana).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to assess feature impact, identify potential risks, and design for long-term maintainability.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and driven by a desire to build excellent systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.

• Design and build reliable, scalable APIs and microservices that power core platform functionality.
• Apply engineering best practices-such as automated testing, code reviews, and proactive monitoring-to maintain high system reliability.
• Seek diverse feedback and use it to improve code quality and team collaboration.
• Participate in roadmap planning and design discussions, contributing thoughtful insights and technical expertise.
• Keep user experience top of mind, building systems that delight both studio partners and end users.
