Front-End Software Engineer

Join GRVTYs mission-focused team as a Front-End Software Engineer, where youll help design and deliver modern web-based applications supporting national security customers. Youll work on mission systems that enable operators to process, analyze and act on large-scale data in time-sensitive environments.

In this role, youll contribute across the front-end stack, developing user-facing applications and intuitive, responsive interfaces to help deliver scalable, secure, mission-driven software solutions.

What You’ll be Owning

• Design, develop and maintain front-end web applications supporting mission systems.
• Develop interactive, responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as Vue.js, Cesium, AG-Grid, HTML5 Canvas, Websocket and TypeScript
• Collaborate with systems engineers, UI/UX designers and mission partners to create mission critical technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end application performance and usability issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and RESTful APIs
• Support demonstrations and user engagement to ensure solutions meet mission needs.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience developing front-end web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Angular
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams.

What Would be Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AG-Grid, Cesium, HTML5 Canvas, Websocket, Keycloak and Elasticsearch/Kibana.
• Experience with back end technologies such as Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, accessibility and usability best practices.
• Experience working in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting mission systems or national security customers.

Virginia Pay Range$165,000-$235,000 USD
