Job description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance AMDOTS automated data collection, retrieval, processing, and analysis capabilities supporting real-world and test data.
- Develop and maintain the AMDOTS Data Warehouse, including T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server databases, scripts, procedures, maintenance plans, and automated reporting capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and document C++-based ETL software and data-loading/transformation functions used to process mission and test data.
- Automate and maintain end-to-end data transmission from source systems to the AMDOTS Data Warehouse.
- Develop and maintain software supporting data collection, retrieval, processing, analysis, and Data Warehouse operations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software, database, data-processing, and data-transmission issues and recommend technical improvements.
- Maintain required source code, database, software, and technical documentation.
- Support disaster recovery and contingency capabilities associated with AMDOTS data-processing and software functions.
- Ensure developed software does not introduce harmful code, backdoors, time bombs, or other programming effects that could compromise AMDOTS functionality or availability. Security Clearance:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for SCI access required
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a closely related technical field. Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in automated data collection and retrieval, data analysis, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server development and administration, and C++ software development.

Relevant experience supporting Federal Government and/or DoD programs and mission environments. Certifications:
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification - Required
- Relevant Microsoft SQL Server/database certification - Preferred.
- Relevant C++/software-development certification or training - Preferred
- Relevant data engineering/database administration certification - Preferred Roles and Responsibilities
