Lead Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our development team in Berkley Height, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications., * Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
• Work with relational databases and develop complex SQL queries.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD environments.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with React, Angular, or other Front End technologies is a plus.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks.
