Job description
Seeking a Splunk professional to enhance enterprise observability, operational monitoring, and reporting capabilities, supporting dashboard development, data onboarding, log analysis, and reliability engineering, with a focus on network telemetry and operational data across enterprise environments.
Requirements
Splunk, Telemetry, Reliability Engineering, Analysis Skills, Reporting Skills, Onboarding, Reporting Dashboards, Splunk, Information Technology & Information Systems, Linux Operating System, * 10+ years of overall IT experience with 2-3+ years hands-on Splunk experience
- Strong SPL expertise - stats, timechart, transaction, eval, rex, lookup
- Experience building dashboards, drilldowns, reports, and visualizations
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix for log analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with network telemetry - Syslog, SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX
- Understanding of enterprise networking - routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience with network observability platforms - ThousandEyes, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics
- Experience supporting NOC or Network Engineering teams
- Knowledge of cloud networking within AWS, Azure, or GCP
