Senior Python Developer (API/AI) Banking, Capital Markets & Financial Data Platforms

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 15+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications and APIs supporting mission-critical banking and financial services platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python development, API architecture, cloud-native technologies, and financial systems while working closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Experience developing AI-powered applications, Generative AI solutions, or machine learning integrations is highly desirable., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Python applications supporting banking, payments, lending, wealth management, trading, or financial services platforms.

• Architect and build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for internal and external financial applications.
• Develop API integrations with third-party banking platforms, payment gateways, financial data providers, and cloud services.
• Design highly available distributed systems capable of processing high transaction volumes with low latency.
• Build reusable Python frameworks, libraries, and automation tools that improve development productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, business stakeholders, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across enterprise environments.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing pipelines supporting large financial datasets.
• Participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions while mentoring senior and junior developers.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to improve deployment quality and software reliability.
• Ensure applications comply with banking security standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise governance policies.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and microservices architecture.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab for version control.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
