Snowflake Developer

Immediate need for a talented Snowflake Developer. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested., * Develop data solutions that support application, data, and AI use cases.

• Profile, map, transform, normalize, and validate data from multiple source systems.
• Build and maintain queries, views, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Translate business rules into transformations that provide reliable inputs to AI models.
• Support data migrations and integrations between APIs and other applications.
• Collaborate with AI developers to prepare and expose data for AI predictions and functionalities.
• Assist with operationalizing AI capabilities, including processing model inputs and outputs.
• Develop lightweight Python or JavaScript components for data processing and automation.
• Troubleshoot data quality, SQL performance, and application integration issues.
• Document technical designs, business rules, and support procedures.
• Participate in Agile planning, development, and production support activities.
• Provide technical guidance to other developers as needed.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, and enterprise data application development.
• Strong experience with advanced SQL and Python for writing, debugging, and optimizing queries.
• Ability to build and support tables, views, transformations, and data pipelines based on business rules.
• Experience profiling, mapping, validating, transforming, and loading data.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, partner technologies, and third-party tools.
• Practical experience developing or integrating AI-enabled application functionality.
• Experience with REST APIs and remote AI services such as Azure OpenAI.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a highly technical, cross-functional Agile team.
• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership or mentor other developers.
• Experience with portfolio management or project estimation solutions.
• Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) technologies such as Fivetran or comparable tools.
• Experience with big data or massively parallel processing (MPP) databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Understanding of cloud computing and cloud security concepts.
• Experience developing automated data quality checks or integration tests.

Pay Range: $68.57/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
