Software Development Engineer

Our organization is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer 2 to join our dedicated team. The primary focus of this position involves evaluating emerging hardware technologies and conducting detailed analysis of hardware performance and software workloads. The selected candidate will play a critical role in analyzing workloads, conducting performance evaluations, and performing hardware/software analysis to determine the suitability of new technologies for cloud platforms. Additionally, this role involves developing tools and leveraging artificial intelligence to assist with the collection, analysis, and organization of complex technical data., * Evaluate emerging hardware technologies and analyze system performance.

• Analyze software workloads to help determine the optimal fit for cloud-based platforms.
• Conduct detailed performance and hardware/software integration analysis.
• Measure key workloads on emerging hardware configurations.
• Develop tools and leverage artificial intelligence technologies to automate and improve data collection.
• Organize, analyze, and document performance data to support technology decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software requirements with hardware capabilities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in technical engineering roles, with a strong focus on performance analysis and hardware evaluation.

Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in performance analysis and hardware/software analysis. Strong knowledge of computer hardware architectures, workload evaluation methodologies, and tools development is required. Candidates must possess hands-on technical experience evaluating workloads on hardware, rather than a background limited solely to software development.
