nSenior Software Developer

• 7-10+ years of experience in software development. \n
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. \n
• Advanced programming skills (for example Python or Java) and experience with data analysis and visualization libraries to build custom tools. \n

• Research, design, develop and test operating-system-level software, compilers and network distribution software. \n
• Define operational specifications and analyze software requirements; design embedded systems software when needed. \n
• Evaluate user needs and requirements to confirm a design fits within time and cost limits. \n
• Develop or direct software testing, validation, programming and documentation. \n
• Partner with systems analysts, engineers and programmers on system design, project limits, performance requirements and interfaces. \n
• Modify existing software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve interfaces and performance. \n
• Report on project specifications, activities and status. \n
• Use scientific analysis and mathematical models to design software and predict its outcomes. \n
• Set the system performance standards your tools are measured against. \n
• Advise customers and other teams on project status, proposals and technical issues such as design and maintenance. \n
• Work with data processing and project managers to understand project limits and capabilities. \n
