Benefits & conditions

You’ll be joining a cloud services firm that helps commercial and public sector organizations move legacy systems onto modern, cloud- architectures. The role sits within their application modernization practice, working alongside architects and project managers on client engagements where the code has to stay maintainable long after the project wraps.

\n

\n

If you like untangling a monolith as much as you like shipping something new, this role gives you plenty of both.

\n

\n

What You’ll Do

\n \n

  • Design and architect cloud-based .NET applications on AWS, from service boundaries to storage and database choices \n

  • Own features across the full lifecycle: design, build, testing, deployment, and support \n

  • Refactor existing applications so they perform better and are easier to maintain \n

  • Investigate and fix defects in live systems \n

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple stacks, and handle branching, pull requests, and release builds \n

  • Evaluate new cloud services and patterns, then recommend what the team should adopt next \n

  • Work in two-week sprints with daily stand-ups, peer code reviews, backlog grooming, and an end-of-sprint demo \n

  • Step in as technical lead on projects when needed, including reviewing design docs and running technical reviews \n

  • Write documentation the next engineer will actually find useful \n

\n

\n, n

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, and Solutions Architect Associate \n

\n

\n

Nice to Have

\n \n

  • Experience turning business requirements into technical solutions through user story mapping \n

  • Product analytics and telemetry (CloudWatch, Application Insights) used to guide development decisions \n

  • Feature flags and A/B testing in cloud applications \n

  • Comfort working directly with product managers and UX designers, including discovery sessions and feasibility assessments \n

  • A point of view on roadmap planning and how to prioritize technical debt \n

\n

\n

Why Join Us

\n

You’ll join a modernization team that works in short, predictable sprints, reviews each other’s code, and demos real progress every two weeks. Engineers are trusted to own their features and are expected to have opinions about architecture, not just pick up tickets.

\n

\n

The work is fully remote, and projects span a range of clients and legacy stacks, so no two engagements look quite the same. For a senior .NET engineer who wants to stay hands-on while shaping how systems get built, it’s a strong fit.
