Job description

The Finance Division is seeking an experienced Finance Change Management Lead to directly support a senior Finance lead across strategic change initiatives, with primary focus on the Finance Data Warehouse.

The ideal candidate combines deep Capital Markets product and data knowledge with hands-on Finance change delivery. They will manage multiple initiatives, translate complex business and regulatory needs into executable plans, and produce concise Steering Committee and senior-management materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with a senior Finance lead to drive the Finance Data Warehouse and broader strategic change portfolio.

  • Lead multiple workstreams end to end, owning priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, implementation, and transition to BAU.

  • Bridge Finance, Technology, Data, Architecture, and Product teams to turn business and regulatory requirements into executable solutions.

  • Define and validate Finance Data Warehouse requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, solution validation, and end-user sign-off.

  • Apply Capital Markets product and trade-lifecycle knowledge across derivatives, loans, fixed income, and securities financing transactions to shape and validate data requirements.

  • Drive data sourcing, lineage, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, data quality, and control requirements supporting Finance and regulatory reporting.

  • Support capital, leverage, financial, and prudential reporting initiatives, aligned to regulatory deadlines, controls, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Create Steering Committee and senior-management materials, including executive presentations, decision papers, status and risk packs, roadmaps, and supporting analysis.

  • Lead governance forums and stakeholder meetings; communicate decisions, risks, issues, actions, and recommendations clearly and concisely.

  • Coordinate testing, implementation readiness, and BAU transition while guiding Business Analysts, testing resources, and cross-functional contributors.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience in Finance change, portfolio/program delivery, product ownership, business analysis, or project management within a large financial institution.

  • Strong Capital Markets product and trade-lifecycle knowledge across derivatives, loans, fixed income, and securities financing transactions.

  • Strong Finance data and enterprise data warehouse experience, including sourcing, lineage, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, data quality, and controls.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Finance Data Warehouse, Finance data transformation, or other large-scale data-intensive change initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of regulatory reporting across capital, leverage, financial, and/or prudential reporting; FED, SEC, PRA, EBA, or comparable regulatory experience is highly relevant.

  • Proven ability to run multiple complex initiatives across requirements, prioritization, testing, implementation, BAU transition, risk, and dependency management.

  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex topics into clear Steering Committee and senior-management materials.

  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence senior Finance, Technology, Data, Architecture, and control-function stakeholders.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including analysis of large datasets and creation of concise management insights.

  • Ability to work in person in the New York office a minimum of three days per week.

Preferred Characteristics

  • Experience working in Agile squads or fleets, with familiarity with traditional project and program management approaches.

  • Strong facilitation, conflict-management, and influencing skills; able to drive decisions without direct authority.

  • Data-driven, accountable, self-motivated, and highly organized, with a strong focus on data quality, controls, and measurable outcomes.

  • Continuous-improvement mindset and interest in AI-enabled tools that improve analysis, documentation, and delivery execution.
