Senior to Staff Security Engineer / DevSecOps / IAM

A growing technology organization operating in the healthcare, insurance, and data analytics space is seeking a Staff Information Security Engineer/Senior to Principal Security Engineer to join its security team. • Lead IAM and access management initiatives
• Improve organizational security programs and controls
• Design and implement cloud and application security solutions
• Partner with development teams to integrate security throughout the SDLC
• Conduct security assessments and threat analysis
• Respond to security incidents and emerging threats
• Drive security awareness and education efforts
• Develop security architecture recommendations and long-term strategies
• Help maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards

• 10+ years of information security or security engineering experience
• 5+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Experience with AWS cloud environments
• Experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, Auth0, or Ping Identity
• Strong knowledge of OAuth, SAML, OIDC, and LDAP
• Experience securing web applications and APIs
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices
• Familiarity with OWASP, NIST, CIS, or similar security frameworks
• Experience performing security assessments and vulnerability remediation
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in regulated environments
• Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, or similar compliance frameworks
• SaaS platform security experience
• Security certifications
• Advanced degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related discipline
