Senior Python Backend Developer - Python + PySpark

We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer with strong experience in Python programming, backend application development, RESTful APIs, and PySpark-based distributed data processing. The ideal candidate will design scalable backend services, develop data transformation pipelines, integrate enterprise systems, and optimize application and data processing performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Develop data processing and transformation pipelines using PySpark and Apache Spark.
• Process large volumes of structured and unstructured data using distributed computing frameworks.
• Integrate backend services with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and external systems.
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows and implement data validation and quality checks.
• Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and exception handling.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile development ceremonies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production maintenance activities.

• 7 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
• Proficiency in FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong experience with PySpark and Apache Spark.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of distributed computing, data processing, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
