QA Automation Engineer (SDET) - Playwright

Design, develop and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Playwright. Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with developers, business analysts and product owners to define test strategies and understand requirements. Develop reusable automation components and enhance framework capabilities. Perform UI, API and database validation testing. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, identify defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and defect triage discussions. Drive continuous testing, process improvements and software quality initiatives. Maintain automation reports, test metrics and quality dashboards.

Strong Hands-On Experience with Playwright 6+ Years of QA Automation / SDET Experience TypeScript, JavaScript or C# Automation Framework Design, Development and Maintenance Functional, Regression, Integration and End-to-End Testing UI Automation, API Testing and Database Validation API Testing Tools Postman, REST Assured or Equivalent SQL and Database Testing CI/CD Pipelines Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Version Control Git, GitHub, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Agile / Scrum Methodologies Debugging, Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting Test Reporting, Metrics and Quality Dashboards Preferred Experience: Performance Testing with JMeter or LoadRunner Docker and Containerized Test Execution Cloud Platforms AWS, Azure or GCP BDD Frameworks such as Cucumber Banking, Financial Services or Capital Markets Domain Selenium-to-Playwright Framework Migration Accessibility Testing and Security Testing Awareness ISTQB Certification, Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required.
