Distributed Systems Architect

Distributed Computing, System Architecture, Distributed Computing, Ecosystems, Leadership, Data Management, Microservices, Architectural Services, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Development, * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with several years in architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, domain-driven design, and distributed systems patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#.
• Strong understanding of API design, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience operating high-traffic, latency-sensitive systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services across at least one major provider.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives spanning multiple teams., * Experience with platform engineering and internal developer platform construction.
• Familiarity with Istio, Linkerd, Envoy, or comparable service mesh technologies.
• Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization at scale.
• Public speaking, open-source contributions, or published technical writing.
• Experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements.
