Job description
- Architect and scale core backend systems (APIs, microservices, orchestration)
- Design and deploy across a modern AWS stack (ECS, RDS, S3, Terraform)
- Integrate deeply with systems like Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, Jira
- Work directly with customers to map and operationalise complex environments
- Help define engineering standards, hiring, and technical direction
Requirements
- Staff / Principal-level backend or full-stack engineer
- Strong systems experience (Python, TypeScript, APIs, AWS, cloud infra)
- Background in 0*1 or early-stage startup environments
- Experience building scalable, production-grade systems end-to-end
- Comfortable in customer-facing, high-intensity environments
- Bonus: AI systems, agent frameworks, or data/ML pipelines, come from top 5 CS undergrad
Benefits & conditions
$250-280K base + 0.75-1.5% equity (package flexible for the right person)
